The retreat officially begins at 7:00pm on Friday evening, however check-in is available from 3:00pm. We encourage guests to arrive before nightfall, allowing plenty of time to settle into their accommodation, explore the beautiful surroundings, and begin their retreat experience feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a Soar Welcome Information Pack via email. This pack contains everything you need to know, including driving directions, what to bring, retreat details, and other helpful information to prepare for your weekend away.

Nestled in Ancient Rainforest

Our retreats are held at O’Reilly’s Mountain Resort, deep within Lamington National Park, a World Heritage–listed rainforest in Queensland, Australia. Surrounded by ancient trees, birdsong, and misty mountain air, this sacred space invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God in His creation.

A Waterfall Paradise

Lamington National Park is renowned for its abundance of waterfalls, crystal-clear creeks, and hidden forest paths. Flowing water becomes a constant companion — a gentle reminder of renewal, surrender, and God’s ever-present grace as you journey inward and upward.

Stay for two nights in a serene mountain-view room overlooking the McPherson Ranges, offering both twin-share and single room options.

Meals

Savour a selection of thoughtfully prepared meals, including two hot buffet breakfasts, a nourishing lunch on Saturday, and an indulgent three-course dinner on Saturday evening.

Nature Hike

Take part in a guided nature hike through the ancient rainforest of Lamington National Park to Moran Falls where towering trees and quiet forest paths create space to slow down, reflect, and encounter God in His creation.

Workshop Session

Don't let the word 'collage' fool you- this is not just a craft session. Our Holy spirit led Collage Workshop is a deeply meaningful encounter where creativity becomes a tool for hearing Gods voice. No artistic ability required-just a willing heart.

Enlightening Sessions

Participate in two enriching, spirit-led & interactive sessions by Jen and the team created to draw you into deeper intimacy with God and a renewed sense of clarity and peace.

For 2026, our focus is on Psalm 23: The Shepherd. Its a familiar Psalm, yet on retreat, we unpack the practical truths with such deep measure.

Stillness at Moonlight Crag Lookout

We’ll travel together by 4WD mini bus to the breathtaking Mt Cragg

lookout, where the vast landscape invites us to slow down and exhale.

In this peaceful setting, you’ll be gently led into a time of stillness —

creating space to hear God’s voice and rest in His presence.
