This Agreement must be read and signed prior to attending any Soar With Jen / Deliverance Network retreat.

1. Acknowledgment of Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that my participation in this retreat is entirely voluntary.

I understand that the retreat is a faith-based Christian event designed for spiritual encouragement, personal development, worship, teaching, prayer, and group activities.

I understand that Jennifer Jessop and all facilitators and volunteers are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or licensed counselling professionals.

2. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in retreat activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Travel to and from the venue

• Outdoor activities and uneven terrain

• Physical movement and light exercise

• Emotional responses arising from spiritual or group discussions

• Interaction with other participants

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, loss, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation.

3. Health Declaration

I confirm that:

• I am physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities.

• I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or physical limitations prior to attendance.

• I understand that allergen-free environments cannot be guaranteed.

• I will seek appropriate medical attention if required.

I understand that Deliverance Network / Soar With Jen does not provide medical care or emergency services.

4. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, I release and discharge Deliverance Network, Soar With Jen, Jennifer Jessop, volunteers, contractors, venues, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

• Personal injury or illness

• Emotional distress

• Property damage or loss

• Death

• Delays, cancellations, or interruptions

• Any event beyond their reasonable control

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, liability is limited to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again.

5. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deliverance Network, Soar With Jen, Jennifer Jessop, volunteers, contractors, and venues from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, legal costs, or expenses arising from:

• My conduct during the retreat;

• My breach of this Agreement;

• Injury or damage caused by my actions to other participants or property.

This indemnity survives the conclusion of the retreat.

6. Code of Conduct

I agree to:

• Behave respectfully toward all participants and staff;

• Follow all safety instructions and retreat guidelines;

• Refrain from illegal drug use;

• Refrain from unauthorised alcohol consumption;

• Smoke only in designated areas (if permitted by venue);

• Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour.

I understand that failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the retreat without refund.

7. Media Consent

I grant permission for Deliverance Network / Soar With Jen to:

• Capture photographs, video, and audio recordings during the retreat;

• Use such recordings for promotional, marketing, website, and social media purposes;

• Edit and reproduce such material without compensation.

If I do not wish to appear in media, I understand I must notify the organisers in writing prior to the retreat.

8. Confidentiality

I agree to respect the privacy of other participants and not disclose personal information shared during the retreat without consent.

I will not record sessions without written permission.

All retreat materials remain the intellectual property of Deliverance Network / Soar With Jen and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.

9. Cancellation & Refund Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Refund & Cancellation Policy and agree to its terms.

I understand that no refund is provided for voluntary withdrawal, early departure, or non-attendance.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

• I have read this Retreat Participation Agreement in full;

• I understand its contents;

• I voluntarily agree to be bound by its terms;

• I sign this document freely and without coercion.
